Letters to the people I haven’t Met et # 3 Dear Future Daughter

From Mireya Laurent age 31

Dear Future Daughter,

This is the night after your brother, Alex third birthday and I wonder if I’ll ever met you.  In the past year we, me and your Papi tried so hard to have a daughter.

That dream that appears one year ago still etched in my heart.  I dream you hold my hand in the fast land and we walk to your Papi and brother. I remember combing your hair and dress you with a silk dress in that dream. And I just can’t get over it.

You don’t have to be who I imagine like as strongminded as your dad or as independent as me even as playful as your brother you can be yourself. Please don’t hide your feeling cry if you want to, reach for a hug if you want to and laugh then smile. You can do it all you can feel all those emotions.

Darling daughter, you can just be yourself along the way and I promise me and Papi will always be by your side!

You know daughter, I won’t be a perfect mom.

I’ll make mistakes too it’s the truth!

Some days I’ll lock myself in a lab when we play hide and seek.

Some days you’ll cry in Papi’s arms.

Some days you throw up my cooking just because you don’t like it.

Some days I’ll leave you alone in a hotel room during a buisness trip.

Some days I can hurt your feelings.

I already imagine us fight after your Papi. Then you will say “My Papi” and I said “My Papi” then you tell me he is your Papi but in truth he’s also my husband.

Even though I own my Vellune you can choose not to inherit it! You can just be yourself like a stewardess who travels the world or a doctor even a firefighter.

Whatever dreams you had in the future I’ll support it wholeheartedly. Even if that dreams makes you must step into the spotlight.

I’ll support it baby.

If you ever became a part of my life,

I wish I can be with you during your first period.

I wish I can be with you during your first ever heartbreak.

I wish I can hug you every time reality hits you.

I wish I can tell you that you could become everything.

I also wish I can feel you moving in my womb.

Daughter, there is no single night that I don’t think about you.

Not a single night left this year not praying for you.

Until we meet,

I hope you will come soon to my womb then to our family
