Anxiety attack vs panic attack


 Before we dive into it, let’s define anxiety attacks and panic attacks first.

What is an anxiety attack?

If you search on the web, you may not find the definition but what you can find is the conditions that can make the anxiety attack.

According to healtline.com, anxiety attack may occur to people who have a specific mental illness condition such as:

Panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, and generalized anxiety disorder.

Now let’s take a look at panic attack what is panic attack?

Cambridge Dictionary defines a panic attack as a sudden period of severe anxiety in which your heart beats fast if you have trouble breathing and you feel something very bad is going to happen.

Now, that we know the definitions let’s take a look at the symptoms.

You may feel panic attack and anxiety attack symptoms at the same time. What makes these two similar because they can a physical and emotional symptoms including worry, shortness of breath, tears, headache, and feeling faint.

How can you handle a panic attack or anxiety attack?

Having a panic attack or anxiety attack is bad but as you experience it, you will be able to clear that out yourself. Many things such as drinking water and switching the focus to something else will slowly calm you. Or even confining yourself that you’re okay and It’s okay will slowly calm the symptoms.

In conclusion, wheater you’re experiencing a panic attack or an anxiety attack you can always switch that thinking to something else. If that didn’t work maybe consulting and having a conversation with your psychiatrist will ease it. Don’t forget to drink your medicine so that you can slowly ease the symptoms slowly.
